The Royal Wedding Events

Bella's school had a little tea party in celebration of the royal wedding on the Thurdsay prior to the big day. The kids were supposed to wear their best party attire, so Bella enjoyed getting into one of her dresses. I was excited to join her also, yet was disappointed because I thought it would be a cute little tea party. Instead, I guess they had a little tea before the parents came and then there were some activities outside like: making tea pot Kate and Will cards, coloring, a play tea party, and tattoos. It was fun, but not the cute tea party I expected at all. Bella could have just worn something casual.......but, then we couldn't have had a pre-bash photo shoot! ha!

Also, I had a little beef with Will and Kate..... wondering why my darling little princess wasn't chosen to be a flower girl? I mean I know she isn't related, BUT SHE IS THE CUTEST GIRL IN ALL OF ENGLAND!!!!

First of all, she INSISTED that she have a photo with her counting monkeys and goldfish.

Another "Bella" pose!
And then there was the added cardigan. So, once we got to school, the kids went straight outside to do some actitivites. These were balancing blocks. My future gymnast. Oh, the thing on her back is a ladybug shell. They have all sorts of animal and bug thingamabobs to wear at playtime. She insisted on wearing one for the celebration. Peek-a-boo! There was a tattoo station. Bella got a Princess tattoo on her hand.

So, at least there was a "make believe" tea party set up. Bella was all over it.

This was the day of the wedding. She represented with her Burberry Union Jack flag T-shirt.

Then, she started taking control of the "photo shoot" again and said, "I'm going to sit down, okay?" and proceeded to pose. Yes, I know, I know, I created this.

Many blessings Will and Kate! (even if my girl wasn't your flower girl!)

Easter is Here!

Bella started getting her Easter goodies a few days before Easter. A box arrived from Aunt Cacky and Aunt Jo Jo. After the card, her eyes located the chocolate bunny straight away. You can see just how delighted she is with chocolate. It's a shame....just like mama! Then Bella found her new friend, "Hoppy". He sings and dances to "I feel good." She loves to dance with him, feed him and even roll the ball to him. Some how I think she believes he is alive.

Then, Easter Day arrived. She started with a few baskets full of surprises that Nana had sent.
Her favorite: Books!

Her first Webkinz!

Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeps! Yes, the kid loves Peeps. "Daddy open them"

Easter straws.

OOOOOOh, Easter stickers.

More stickers! Plus, an activity pad!

Those are some really big bubbles!

Or is it a magic wand??? Auntie Jannis thinks so.

Even the dress was from Nana.

The goodies just kept on comin! Auntie Mary got Bella a basket, too. Can you say spoiled?

A pink ball? Perfect! She wanted to go straight outside and play with it without seeing what else was in the basket. But, it was filled with a bag, a waterball, shoelaces, some sweatbands, a hairbow......perfect for a sporty girl!

There was candy, too. She had to bust that open right away.

Thank you Auntie Mary!

Then, Mommy and Daddy's Easter basket goodies FINALLY came a day late. And, you will never believe what I did? I actually let her open the mailed box rather than put it in a color coded pretty little container! Yes, you heard me. I am letting some decorative things slide. And guess what? I think she will survive! Ha!
First up, Bob and Larry puzzle!
Veggietale Easter movie which is her new favorite!
Sweet Pea Beauty cup, plate and bowl (also Veggietales)

She also got another Easter DVD, some Jesus Loves Me stickers, a Jonah game, and an Easter book. Everything was Veggietales this year because A.) she loves them and B.) we always try to get her things that teach the true meaning of Easter.

Spirit Week

A few weeks ago, Bella's class had spirit week. I completely forgot about the first day which was Crazy Hair Day, but we tried to participate in three of the days, at least.

Cowboy Day

Wacky Tacky Day- No one thought I was going to be able to handle sending Bella in mismatched clothes. But was able to overcome my obsession for one day!

Jersey Day- Thanks to Jill and George, we had this jersey right on time. A little bit big, but Daddy was very proud.

Turkey Finale

On our final day, we hired a boat to take us on a little cruise along the shore of Antayla. We went into a few small caves and saw a waterfall. It was extremely windy but beautiful.

Bella gave daddy a big kiss before boarding the boat.

Mommy and Bella at the front of the boat. Check out how fluffy my girl's hair can get.
Bella wasn't too sure about entering the caves.

Turquoise water and rock around the caves.

The rest of these are just shots around the resort.

Kid's poolThe dining area. It had different areas of buffets. It was massive.

And a WHOLE ROOM of desserts

This was the kids eating area where we ate each day. It had a snow white theme.

We sat here

There were even treats and refreshments when you walked in the door AT ALL TIMES.
