We decided last minute to book a 4 day adventure to Disney Paris. It was one of two trips we are taking with Bella before she becomes a big sister and has to share the lime light! We decided to take the Eurotunnel and drive so we could stay at the 5-star main resort, which did not disappoint. We had the most magical time and the smiles on Bella's face were worth every penny! (Let's hope she can take care of us when we are old and have spent our retirement already)
Disney Princess shirt? Check. Seat belt? Check. Ipad? Check. Drink? Check. Snacks? Check.
We are READY!

We headed out a day earlier than we expected so we could stay a night in Dover and sleep in a bit. Here' Bella at our hotel.
Set for our journey to Paris via the Eurotunnel. The crossing was 30 minutes and the drive in Paris is about 3 hours.

We wasted no time.....we got in the room, and headed to the Park......afterall, it was RIGHT OUT OUR WINDOW!
It is Disney Paris' 20th Year Anniversary!
First purchase: Ears
We only had an hour before our dinner so we could only make it to the Pocahontas Play Area.
The novelty of the ears were short-lived and so mommy tried them on.
Dinner at Silver Spur in Frontierland. Bella was smitten with her Mickey Mouse shaped plat and Donald Duck burger pick.

Out of everything we did, the girl most enjoyed swimming. Note to self: book the local Holiday Inn with swimming pool and save a fortune! I have to say, though, both Curtis and I were flabbergasted at how well she swims now. She takes lessons at school so we never really see her progress. She is our little fishy and she gets so excited!

The only other ride I got to go on was the Buzz Lightyear Laser Adventure. We got to shoot Aliens with our own lasers. It was super fun!
After each ride, Bella would run out and yell, "Mommy". That will NEVER get old!
It started to pour down rain so we took cover for a few minutes. Luckily, mommy had chips!
We had characters at every lunch and dinner in our hotel. Look who it is! At first, this was as close as she would get to any character.
They had to come up behind her and coax her.
Finally, she gave in!

We saw an awesome black light show starring Donald Duck and Mickey and all of the classic tales: Jungle Book, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, etc.

Here's the most ironic part.....Bella SUPPOSIVELY loves princesses (my theory is that she likes them because her friends do). Anyway, I was going to pre-book all of these EXPENSIVE princess things, but THANK GOODNESS I didn't because she was so not interested. On the way to our room every day we passed the cutest beauty parlor that did "Princess for the Day" glamour shots. I tried every way I could (including bribery) to talk her into getting some photos, but she wouldn't have it! In the end, we bought her the Rapunzel get up (which she wanted) and she actually wore it to our fancy $200.00 dinner on the last night.
