Go Daddy Go!

Curtis completed a life long goal a couple of weeks ago and ran a half marathon. We are very proud of him. Bella was his cheerleader.

We hit the playground afterwards.

Weekend Escape to Birmingham

We have been stranded without our passports awaiting Visas since July 23rd!! So, we couldn't join our friends in Garmisch for Labor Day. Instead, we decided we'd take another road trip...this time to Birmingham. There is so much to do there! We finally took Bella to Thomasland, spent the night and then went to a spectacular Science Museum. I just love our family getaways.
Curtis is the best dad!  He does all of the rides with Bella because when I get dizzy I get sick.  Yes, I know...totally lame.  But, I am a good camera girl so it all works out just fine.

Look mom, no hands!

The next day we hit the Think Tank Science Museum (or fish tank, as Bella called it)

There was a story corner where we listened to a story about an underwater adventure.  There was cloud participation. We are very good listeners.
We had to swim.
Virtual Drums

We could make this Robot talk and show emotion.  It was pretty darn cool, if you ask me!
This little Kids' City had EVERYTHING.  We had so much fun playing in it!
Water table
This one is for Krisa and Brad.  I was able to show off how to operate the locks!
Bella was doing her, "I've got to go to the bathroom but don't want to stop playing" dance.  We told her to go and she said, "I'll go in 2 minutes!"  I am so glad I got it on film.

The diner with everything you could possibly think of.

Auto Service

She's a natural.

This was so funny.  Bella was driving her "patient" to the hospital but she wouldn't stop.  So, Curtis got on the phone and told them she was kidnapping him.
This was the doctor's office reception area.  You could actually call each other on the phones in each area.

The dentist.
"You've got a lot of cavities, dad!"

There was an outside exploration garden also.
