We surprised her with this place so when we got to our table, she was ecstatic to be there.
She couldn't contain her excitement.
"C'mon already, let's go!"
Yep, another slide!
Playing catch with daddy.
SO MUCH FUN!
Motorcycle racing with daddy.
Mommy got a turn, too.
We went to go have lunch after that and there were more little rides.
On the last night, Nana and Bella stayed at the flat and mommy and daddy went on a "date". The destination: The Scotch Whiskey Experience. Yes, it was daddy's idea. Mommy was a bit apprehensive, but it actually turned out to be interesting.
Like a kid in a candy store.
One part was "taste testing." We went into a room with a long table and learned about the 4 regions where Scotch comes from and the distinctive flavor of each region. The little cards were scratch and sniff. Each color represented a region. Then, you put your glass on the color that you wanted to taste. All I can say is I can't understand why anyone thinks this beverage is remotely tasty. No matter what "flavor" you have, it tastes like gasoline mixed with rubbing alcohol. Yuck!
The room with 3500 bottles of whiskey. Curtis' cool poise.
Different collector bottles.
Curtis at the bar for another extra taste test. He is showing off his Official Membership Card into the Scotch Whiskey Society. Yes, daddy is a serious VIP. Ha!
More sightseeing as mommy and daddy walked home from their date.
Last but not least......this is the ice cream store around the corner from our flat. It was like Cold Stone. It was the best ice cream I have ever tasted. We went EVERY NIGHT. I tried 10 different flavors. Heavenly.
Bye bye, Scotland!
