Well, what do you know...I am behind on blogging again! We went to the fabulous Dinosaur Adventure Park back in July with our good friends Ms. Amanda, Spencer and Scarlett. It was a gorgeous day, one of the only in a series of wet ones. The park itself was a dream come true for Bella because of the massive playground. (not because of the dinos, unfortunately) In fact, it was hard to pry her off of it to even go on the dino trek.
This was about the only dinosaur she wasn't scared of.
Scarlett takes the green one. She will be 4 in December.
I think Bella would live on a basket swing if she could.
O
Spencer took the girls on a ride.
Then, we began the Dinosaur Trek in the woods. You could collect stamps and get a medal. This was one of the first ones and Bella thought it was cute......
.........then, these actually made noise and were "talking to her". She screamed and it all went down hill from there.
This was huge and she wasn't really scared of it, but more in awe. She STILL talks about the "biggest dinosaur in the whole wide world".
Another attraction was a sheep dog demonstration.
The sheep herder introduced each of his doggies and their history.
Then, all of a sudden he blew his whistle and one of the dogs ran and gathered some sheep from way far away.
They were herded right in front of us. It was interesting to see that dogs are still used.
Of course we had to have ice cream.
Next up: The deer safari. Bella is a huge Bambi fan so this was great for her.
Bella talking about the deer from inside the safari vehicle.
Amanda and the adorable Spencer.
Scarlett and Bella watching the deer.
Spencer, the happiest kid I know.
