Best Friends Forever

Bella has had the same best friend for basically her whole LONG life--the one and only Julian Savoy (she likes to say his first and last name and he calls her, "Bella Boo.") Anyway, they have been in the same class since they started at the CDC and then when they moved to Busy Bees. They have a blast together. Well, the inevitable has happened...he PCSed! This happened right before Easter Break so when she goes back to school, he will no longer be there. I know she will be very sad when she fully comprehends that her favorite buddy is really gone. About a week before he left, we took the two of them out for a last fun-filled day with a special surprise.

We started at a play place...SHOCKER....we should have stock in these places. The two of them just took off and giggled all day long.

On the bumper cars with Daddy. The blue bunny is Hippity. She had to take him home from school and write a journal about what they did together.

Then, came the BIG suprise. We took them to Build-a-Bear to pick out a stuffed animal for each other. He picked a Monkey and she picked a pink teddy bear with hearts.

They each recorded a message to each other to put in the stuffed animal so that they could always hear each other's voice. Her bear says, "Hi Bella Boo, I miss you!"

She loves her extra special bear.

She named her Jewels. (after Julian)

Now, Julian gets his Monkey stuffed. On a side note- while they were waiting to get their animals stuffed, they both just went in and kissed each other ON THE LIPS. It was shocking, cute and concerning all at the same time. They really do adore each other.

They are "washing" their newbies in the Build-a-Bear bath.

So excited to have their special friends.

All played out and dreaming about seeing Julian again.
