Easter Brings New Life

I love the Easter Season and what it stands for. This season was especially special because the time period fell parallel with me entering my 2nd trimester. Yes, that's right, we are pregnant once again! Just when we thought one way, God had His plan....as He always does. We actually found out on Christmas Eve. Of course, getting pregnant has never been hard for us.....but, staying pregnant has.  So, after many, many ultrasounds, and a horrible 1st trimester,  we have made it to 19 weeks and counting.   We have passed some major milestones and are getting geared up for the arrival of our 2nd little one. 

We were going to have a Disney Princess tell Bella the news, but couldn't wait that long because my belly "popped" and she was getting suspicious.   So, instead, we wrote a message in an Easter egg and she found out on Easter.   Unfortunately, I only have it on video and I don't post them here because we make this blog into books for Bella Boo.  But, she was excited after it initially sank in.  She wants a baby sister so we will see what the Lord has in store for her.  We are having a Gender Reveal Party on Tuesday and will find out what we are having!

We did our annual Easter Egg coloring.

Then, came Easter morning.........yep, that's a typical face from my silly girl.

She got to have one chocolate before church.....can't you see how excited it made her.

After church and lunch with friends, she did her Easter Egg hunt in her room, which we are currently changing into a "Princess Room"

"Look at all of my loot!"

She couldn't move fast enough to get into them!

"Jelly beans, my favorite!"

And it looks like mommy has had too many jelly beans!   This is the 16 week shot!
