Anyways, I had these visions of sandcastles and kite flying on the beach all weekend long. But, of course, how could I forget that I was in England? It was one of those rain of and on all day long kind of weekends so we never made it to the sand. But, of course, that didn't stop our fun. We rode some rides, ate, played games, shopped, ate, visited some attractions, ate, relaxed, cruised in our 17-seater minibus and just enjoyed each other's company.
We stayed in a fantastic Bed and Breakfast with the best owners who took care of our every need. One of the owners was a chef and made Lori and I a birthday cake one evening. We had the best breakfasts and a gourmet dinner one night. It was fab, fab, fab.
Bella on the carousel with her number one man...da-da.
As you can see, Bella was not amused with the weather.
We went out for Indian food and Bella and Colby were keeping busy with coloring. They were sharing very nicely. Colby is about 1 year and 2 weeks older than Bella.
Daddy's girl!

After the thrill of drawing wore off, Bella decided to play a game of "hide behind the curtain". For some reason, she has always loved covering herself in any sort of blanket or covering. Anyway, here she would jump out of these curtains and giggle.
Colby joined in on the fun.
This picture cracks me up! Bella was giving Colby some love, yet doesn't it look like a Junior High slow dance? We had to have a talk with Colby afterwards, cuz I don't know about you, but it kind of looks like his right hand is trying to make a move.

Bella and Tiff, who's 11.

One night, George took us on an adventure down a trail from our B&B to the water. Jill was Bella's trail guide.

It led us straight to the ocean! And although we were giving George a hard time for our trek, we actually owe him because if it wasn't for him, we never would have set foot on the beach. (because of the weather) Here's Bella's modeling shot.

Sweet little Laney Grace. Laney Grace is about 5 months old.
On Sunday, we went to the Seal Sanctuary. Seals are very prominent in Skegness and in November, 100's of seals come ashore. This Sanctuary takes the baby seals that are ill and nurses them back to health at this sanctuary. Eventually, they are returned back to the sea.
