We had a visitor with us for the trip- Teddy Edwards, the class mascot for Bella's class. We had to take him around and she had to journal all about our trip. The night before we left, she played a game with Teddy E.
We arrived at Cadbury and Bella was a happy, happy girl.
It used to be an actual huge community. The Cadbury workers used to live on the premises. There was a post office, housing, church, hospital, etc. It has a neat history.
Bella read the map to Teddy E.
Bella would not get a picture with this cocoa bean, so we took one for team.
Right before we entered the tour.
This was the beginning of the MADNESS........our first candy bar, The Crunchie (similar to a Butterfinger)
Little Tucker
The HUGE vat of chocolate AKA where I would like to bathe.
Bella just being herself
Just waiting in line for the little ride.
In the car for the ride through the story of the cocoa bean.
Through the cocoa bean ride.
Cadbury Co. builds wells in Ghana.
At the end, after you have already been handed 3 regular sized candy bars and a cup of liquid chocolate, you have the opportunity to mix your own. I put marshmallows in mine. The liquid chocolate is so divine. I was SO SICK afterwards (and I really didn't eat much) that I woke up with a migraine the next day.
All of our loot!
