Stop #2: Atlanta, Georgia

After Florida, we drove to Atlanta to meet up with Curtis' family at their church convention at the Hilton. It was a treat to be able to attend the convention even though we were only able to catch the last couple of days.

At this age, it takes Bella awhile to get reaquainted with her loved ones because she doesn't see them everyday. So, we had lunch on the first day (after arriving late the night before) with some of her cousins then went to noon service. She hit it off with cousin E.J. (8) first so he was on Bella duty initially. They were so sweet together. He was by her side the whole time (and loved it).

Look how intently my baby listens to the service. She also loves to dance and clap during praise.
Bella was getting sleepy. She only lasted an hour into service and then it was ni-ni!The next day there was some free time to enjoy the pool. Ms. B was ready to go!First, some mommy fun!"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"After you do anything fun like this with Bella she ALWAYS asks for "more please" over and over until you are so winded and tired you want to faint! Cousins Kelsey (8th grade) and Jessica (9th grade) GLADLY took over. Then, Simone (6th) and EJ came on over to join the fun. This picture captures the essence of how much they doted on her all the time. She was the Belle of the Ball. They fought over who got to hold her and for how long. Then, Lizzy (9th grade) joined and brang Bella her favorite....BALL! Arlen (8th) joined in next. Then, Daddy!
And at the end of the day, Bella got clean and settled in with a nice book. What a perfect day!
Thank you Lord for family.
