Fun in the Hot, Hot, Hot (Did I say Hot?) Sun

A few days before our trip to the states we got together with Ms. Javare and her fantastic kids- Kemuel (7) and Amariah (4). Javare and I met two years ago when she walked into my classroom as my long term sub when I went on Maternity Leave. She was and is a blessing from above.

Anyhoo, this was the first time we got our kids together. It was so hot in England that day and we went to the Pettits Animal Adventure Park again. We had a great time.

Kemuel took extra special care of Bella and was her personal assisstant all day. It was the sweetest. I was turned around and Bella just marched right up to the top of this slide with no fear. Her rising courage is starting to scare me.

When she got to the top, though, we realized the slide was too hot for her to go down so Kemuel went up and saved the day.

As for the rest of the day, Bella was more interested in collecting rocks than the rides this time!

Bella was playing in this ball pit and kept peeking out at us and this other man who was waiting there for his daughter. Flirting became much more fun than playing in the balls.
